An open letter to the friends of small business owners.

So, your friend just text you, she has decided to start a new career. You are excited until she tells you that she is starting a new small business. She is starting an online clothing boutique, opening a store on main street, or maybe she is going to work for a direct sales company.  Before you start worrying about about how much you will need to spend to help her out…TAKE A DEEP BREATH.

Remember that supporting a friend’s small business isn’t always buying from them, THOUGH IT IS VERY HELPFUL AND ALWAYS APPRECIATED! 🙂

Your friend loves you and just needs to know you are in their corner. You will rally for their sales, help them promote their newest product, and cheer them on when they hit their goals. After all, you know your friend, they would not start a business if they did not believe in their abilities or their products. Get loud and get proud!

Whatever your friend’s business is, there are lots of ways to help her that do not cost a dime. If it is an online store, share the link with your friends.  Maybe it’s a local shop, “check-in” on social media. Let people know that you shop LOCAL with your friends.
