So, your friend just text you, she has decided to start a new career. You are excited until she tells you that she is starting a new small business. She is starting an online clothing boutique, opening a store on main street, or maybe she is going to work for a direct sales company.  Before you start worrying about about how much you will need to spend to help her out…TAKE A DEEP BREATH.

Remember that supporting a friend’s small business isn’t always buying from them, THOUGH IT IS VERY HELPFUL AND ALWAYS APPRECIATED! 🙂

Your friend loves you and just needs to know you are in their corner. You will rally for their sales, help them promote their newest product, and cheer them on when they hit their goals. After all, you know your friend, they would not start a business if they did not believe in their abilities or their products. Get loud and get proud!

5 Reasons you should keep your brushes clean

  1. Dead Skin Cells sister! When you use your brushes daily, they can pick up dead skin cells. Now you might be the girl who only applies makeup occasionally, imagine the dust that is collecting in your powder brush. Using anti-bacterial soap and cleansers, you are helping to prevent the spread of bacteria and dirt from your brushes to your face.

Do you have just 5 minutes? Of course, you do! As Christmas and New Years approaches, 5 minutes is about all you can spare. Right? During our busy seasons we tend to throw self-care out of the window.  We sleep in our makeup. Don’t get down sister, it happens.  We are spread out doing many things with very little time to do them.

Hello winter time! It’s time to get outside and go shopping, caroling, enjoy bonfires, and of course outside Christmas lights. Don’t forget to bundle up and apply your moisturizer. Depending on your weather, you might need to switch to a thicker moisturizer, maybe a balm.  If your skin feels tight when you wash your face, switch to a hydrating cleanser.  If your skin stings or burns when you apply your moisturizer…it’s time to begin the REPAIRING PROCESS!

More than a side hustle.

Are you looking at getting a second or third job in 2020? A new ‘side hustle’. We hear you! The cost of living is higher than the days of our parents and grandparents. Have you tried direct sales? You have. Oh, sister give it one more try. So many things factor into direct sales success. You might be in a different place now than when you first tried direct sales. Don’t miss an opportunity out of fear of failure. Now that I have said that let’s look at what you need workout before you begin your business.

Grab a notebook.  You will need to jot down a few things down. First, write what your goal is. Are you feeling overwhelmed with debt? Look at your debt and see what needs immediate attention. Pay attention to interest rates and deadlines. Oh, those credit cards can get ya, but have no fear! How about a new purse? Print a picture out of that fabulous purse and put it on your fridge! Family Vacation? Plan it out!

Next step, write down everything that can/will get in your way. Then with a bright color pen, write how you will counter each of the things on your list. That’s right! NOTHING IS GOING TO GET IN YOUR WAY! You have a goal and a plan.
