It is summertime in Mississippi, meaning that the low is typically 65 on a good day and the high can be 100+. Ouch! So here is the thing, which soaring tempts and the beautiful blaring sun we all need to take a few important steps to stay healthy.

STAY HYDRATED! Okay so you might be the person who hates to drink water. Maybe it must be super cold or can only be carbonated. Try putting your water in a fun cup with a straw or an insulated water bottle. It is a mind over matter type of deal. Sometimes we must trick our mind into believing that we are drinking something fun until we can form our healthy habits.
HEALTHY SNACKING! Chips, pizza, and candy are all fine and dandy if in moderation. Remember to replace some of those snacks with fruits like watermelon and berries because while they are tasty, they can also help keep you hydrated.
SUNSCREEN! Look golden tans are might be your thing. I know I feel my best with a tan, but the older I get I realize that my health is more important than my tan. Now I use fake tanners to tone down my blindly white legs and wear sunscreen DAILY! Yea, the sun can cause pre-mature aging, but the scary thing is skin cancer. Wear the hat. Apply the sunscreen. Reapply the sunscreen.
NOURISH YOUR SKIN! Aloe Vera is amazing to help keep sunburns at bay, but it can help to nourish dehydrated skin as well. My personal favorite is Nutri-Hydrating Mist.

When did you join Aloette? 2/9/2020

What made you want to join Aloette? I’ve used the products for 10 years and love them! Extra income and needing an outlet as a stay at home mom!

What was your biggest Aloette/LIFE achievement in 2019? Getting to quit work and come home with my son!

What are you working for in 2020? Building my team! Finding confidence in myself as a business owner and some financial freedom will most definitely be a plus!

What motivates you, or how do you keep yourself motivated. My son! Giving him an example to look up to from both his Dad and myself! Also letting him see that we BOTH are doing everything we can to give him the life he deserves!

What makes you feel confident? 1st from an aloette standpoint would be my own experience with aloette… I’ve seen major changes in my own skin and Because of that I’m able to share my own experience without the fear of “telling them wrong” about a product! And 2nd would be having a good show (especially when It takes a little extra push to get it there) overcoming a challenge kind of gives me that aka “sassy hair toss” moment

How do you rate success for yourself? From 2/9-3/1 I’ve already started building my team and in my own opinion… based on the expectations I had for myself in the beginning, on a scale of 1 to 10 I’d rate my first month as a consultant at least a 7 or 8 I could have done more but it was a successful first month that I’m happy with! Success within myself I’d give it a 10 because I’ve found the outlet I was seeking initially when I started this journey and my expectations for myself and my team are continuously growing and I’m excited to see what the future brings for myself and my family!

I had the pleasure of interviewing one of Aloette MS & AR Central’s NEWEST consultants, Kristen Johnson. Kristen is a stay at home mom of FOUR! Kristen has just completed her third home show and is setting Aloette goals!

When did you join Aloette? 2/22/2020 under my sister, Macey Church.

Why did you want to join Aloette? I wanted to better myself and to be a role model to my 4 kids.

What would you like to see happen in 2020? I would like to earn enough to upgrade our family vehicle to a brand new suburban to haul around my basketball team lol.

What would you say your greatest motivation to make Aloette work for you? My greatest motivation is my beautiful kids and my extremely hard working husband.

What makes you feel confident? Aloette makes me feel confident. It gives me the clear and smooth skin while the makeup gives me the flawless look to put my best face forward every day! Also, my amazing husband who has all the confidence in the world in me!

How do you rate personal success? I rate success by how happy I am and how happy my family is. If we are all happy, then I am the most successful person in the world!

Hello winter time! It’s time to get outside and go shopping, caroling, enjoy bonfires, and of course outside Christmas lights. Don’t forget to bundle up and apply your moisturizer.
